Community Association Manager Earns Top Industry Credential

Joe Wise, general manager of Wise Property Solutions, was recently awarded the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) credential from Community Associations Institute (CAI). Wise is only the 15th PCAM in Tenn. and joins an elite group of managers worldwide who have achieved the highest recognition level in the condo and homeowner association industry.

To earn the PCAM credential, managers must have earned the Association Management Specialist (AMS®) designation and have at least five years of verified condo and homeowner association management experience. Managers must also complete more than 100 hours of intensive, specialized instruction covering all aspects of association management and conduct a comprehensive case study. In addition, PCAMs must fulfill continuing education and service requirements.

“Pursuing the PCAM helps experienced association managers hone skills, efficiencies and expertise,” said Wise. “It helps us stay on top of industry trends and changes so that we can provide the level of service our clients need.”

Wise Property Solutions provide financial, administrative, and facilities management services to thousands of homeowners through their community associations across the Mountain South. The firm’s managers typically are responsible for managing budgets and contractors, directing association personnel and overseeing compliance with association covenants and restrictions as directed by the association’s Board of Directors.

CAI is an international organization dedicated to building better communities. CAI and its 60 chapters work on behalf of the professionals and volunteers engaged in the management and governance of homeowner and condominium associations, cooperatives and other planned communities. CAI’s nearly 32,000 members include community association volunteer leaders, managers, management companies and businesses that provide products and services to these communities.
