Meet Joe

General Manager

General Manager, Joe Wise, CMCA® (Certified Manager of Community Associations), AMS® (Association Management Specialist), PCAM® (Professional Community Association Manager) understands the needs of his clients. As a resident of a condominium community, Wise was struck by the lack of professionalism and civility at annual meetings. Trained and internationally experienced as a business administrator and manager of business and corporate communication, he knew things could and should be different. When elected to the Board he committed himself to communicate with homeowners, and provide accuracy and transparency in reporting the administrative and financial details of the community association—these same commitments to quality and professionalism drive Wise Property Solutions today.

Joe has a bachelor’s degree from Milligan College. He has done additional graduate work at both East Tennessee State University and the Emmanuel School of Religion.

Wise is certified as a CMCA®, AMS® and PCAM®. To obtain and maintain these certifications, a manager must complete the comprehensive course work, pass a national certification examination, adhere to standards of professional conduct and take continuing education courses to recertify.

Joe is active in community service and is the Treasurer of the East Tennessee Science Fair and Past President of the Kiwanis Club. He has also served as a board member of the Kiwanis Club and a delegate to the annual convention of Kiwanis International. He has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the North American Christian Convention, the Business Development Council of the local Chamber of Commerce, as Chairman of the Johnson City Regional Planning Commission, and as a Washington County Commissioner. He currently serves on the Community Association Institute (CAI) Legislative Action Committee, the City Commission of Johnson City, and as Mayor.

He and his wife have two sons and a daughter.
